To highlight the class of 2024, each graduating designer was tasked with creating a poster and accompanying materials with a unique theme for PLNU’s annual Art & Design Senior Show. This event celebrates and showcases the art and design students’ work and experiences from our college years. I created the theme of Taking Off, representing our launch into professional careers and a new phase of life after graduation. I included the ocean in the background to symbolize the fact that we are “taking off” from Point Loma’s campus into the broader world of our future endeavors. After designing the poster, I then adapted it to fit the formats of the accompanying materials, including postcards and a Facebook banner.
